The CEO of Strathbogie Shire Council, Julie Salomon has resigned and will finish at the Council in July.
The news was first reported by the Euroa Gazette this morning, prior to the Council releasing an official statement.
Administrator Peter Stephenson said, “With Julie’s resignation, and organisational transition, it prompts us to focus on selecting the best candidates for the October Local Government election, as well as initiating the search for a new CEO”.
No reason has been given for the resignation, which follows the dismissal of all Strathbogie councillors late last year, and the appointment by the state government of Mr Stephenson as Administrator until elections in October this year.
