Mitchell Shire Council has announced the appointment of Mary Agostino as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Ms. Agostino has been serving as Interim CEO since December 2024.
Mayor John Dougall praised Ms. Agostino’s strategic leadership and deep local knowledge, highlighting her commitment to tackling key community issues including rapid growth, road infrastructure, and financial sustainability.
With an impressive track record in senior executive roles since 2017 and recognition as one of the LGIU 25 Thinkers in Local Government worldwide, Ms. Agostino will formally commence her role as Chief Executive Officer this month.
