Las Vegas City Council has approved an expansion of the underground tunnel network being built by Elon Musk’s The Boring Company.
Public funding for the initial two mile stretch of tunnels underneath the Las Vegas Strip was first approved in 2019.
The Boring Company plans to use Teslas to move three passengers at a time along the loop.
Nevada Current reports that the expansion given council approval this week would see the network increase to 68 miles, with 81 passenger terminals.
