Removal of councillors decision deferred

News

Consideration of a decision to remove two councillors from the Salisbury City Council in South Australia due to absenteeism has been deferred to next week.

The deferral follows a request from legal representatives of the two councillors, Severina Burner and Grace Bawden, to allow a submission to be made to the Council by close of business this Friday, 9th June.

The Council will now consider the matter at a special meeting on Tuesday 13th June at 6.30pm.
