The Mayor of Queensland’s South Burnett Regional Council, Cr Brett Otto, has taken extended leave due to a health issue.
The Council’s CEO Mark Pitt advised today that Deputy Mayor Gavin Jones will act as Mayor during Cr Otto’s absence.
In a statement, the Council said it would not be making any further comment and asked that the family’s privacy be respected.
