In what has been described as a bombshell resignation, Professor Kerrie Freeman is leaving her position in the South Australian health system to become the new CEO of Brisbane City Council.
The Adelaide Advertiser reported that SA Health “is reeling” from the news, and scrambling to launch an immediate search for her replacement.
The appointment of Prof Freeman as Brisbane’s new CEO is expected to.be ratified tomorrow by the council, according to Inside Local Government.
