Blacktown City Council services are facing major disruptions today due to 24-hour industrial action.
Garbage collection in more than two dozen suburbs will be delayed today and tomorrow, with residents asked to leave bins at the kerb.
Parks maintenance, street cleaning, and splash parks at Nurragingy Reserve and Blacktown Showground are all affected.
Community centres may not meet usual cleaning standards, and bulk kerbside clean-ups will experience delays. Council expects to catch up on services over the weekend.
