NSW: Berrigan extends CEO search; Dupe to stay on into 2026

News
Mark Dupe’s sojourn in the country has been extended

Berrigan Shire Council will broaden the search for its new Chief Executive Officer and take more time to secure the right candidate for the position.

The Council resolved to extend the recruitment timeframe this week, and extend the contract of interim CEO Mark Dupe into next year.

Mayor Julie Cornwall McKean said the decision reflects Council’s commitment to securing the right candidate to lead the organisation and deliver high-quality services to the community.

She said the extension of Mr Dupe’s contract will ensure continuity and stability during the extended search period.

Cr Cornwall McKean said the Council remains focused on finding a leader who aligns with our values and vision for the future.
